A Global, Classic History 

Indian Motorcycle® has been setting records and entwining itself in history for decades. Post-World War II, the manufacturer helped contribute to efforts to design motorcycles for the U.S. War Department for combat overseas. Later, between 1962 and 1967, a New Zealander and motorcycle enthusiast named Burt Munro took his beloved, custom-built Bobber to the U.S. and turned many heads as he broke speed records several times over, which landed him a spot in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame. His accomplishments were later chronicled in the film, The World’s Fastest Indian.

A Brand Reborn

Some manufacturers might rest on their laurels of the past, but Indian innovation never stops. In 2015, the Scout line was relaunched. In 2018, the Scout Bobber followed suit, redefining the roads. Taking what Indian Motorcycle® enthusiasts loved about the classic Scout and combining that with the modern style sensibilities of the chopper, the Scout Bobber presents a bold reimagining that will guide Indian riders down the highways of the future.

New features include a USB charging port for mobile devices and an anti-lock braking system, which is now available throughout the new line. The bike is available in a range of colors: Thunder Black, Thunder Black Smoke, White Smoke, Ruby Metallic, and more.
